Moscow’s 1862-founded, Russian State Library is Europe’s largest library and the second-largest in the world, right after the Library of Congress in the United States.

Russia is the world’s only country to have 12 seas on its territory. The Trans-Siberian railway that connects Vladivostok and Moscow is the world’s longest railway.

The Tsar Kolokol bell at the Kremlin is the largest bell in the world. This 223 ton, 6.14 m high bell was fabricated in 1735, cracked soon after and has never been rung.
