Jessica Alice "Jessie" Tandy (7 June 1909 – 11 September 1994) was born in London, England.
Jessica Tandy spent most of her 67 years of acting career in the USA and has performed in over 100 stage productions and done more than 60 roles in movies and TV shows.
At the age of 16 she made her debut in the play "The Manderson Girls” as Sara Manderson and was consequently invited to work with the Birmingham Repertory Theatre.
In 1929 Jessica Tandy made her West End play debut in the play "The Rumour" at the Court Theatre.Fact 5
