The largest and most revered rodeo in the world takes place in Colorado. It is known as the “Western Stock Show”. The first rodeo to ever take place in the United States also occurred in this state on July 4, 1869.

More microbreweries are located in the state of Colorado than in any other state.

The state flower is the “Rocky Mountain Columbine”. The state tree is the “Colorado Blue Spruce”.
