In the late 1890's, Berliner founded the the gramophone companies in Germany, America, England and Canada.
He was born into a Jewish family but later became an agnostic.
In 1881, he became a United States citizen. He had moved there in 1870 to avoid being drafted in Germany.
His first improved telephone transmitter invention was acquired by Bell Telephone Company. The patent was declared void by the United State Court of Appeal.Fact 5
