Bill Pullman was born William Pullman on December 17, 1953 in Hornell, New York, USA.
Bill was the sixth of seven children to a father who worked as a doctor and the city coroner and a mother who was a nurse.
He received his BA in theater from the State University of New York College at Oneonta. Later he attended the University of Massachusetts at Amherst where he received his MFA in theater and directing and also received an honorary PhD.
He was working at Montana State University where he was teaching directing and one of his students was John Dahl (the director) who cast him in “The Last Seduction.”Fact 5
He moved to New York City to pursue acting and it was here that he starred in the stage production of “Curse of the Starving Class” which was critically acclaimed.Fact 6
He was noticed for his ability to be diverse as an actor after he starred in his first three films: “Spaceballs,” “Ruthless People,” and “The Accidental Tourist.”Fact 7
