When Empire magazine released their “The Top 100 Movie Stars of All Time” list in October 1997, Arnold Schwarzenegger was ranked number twenty on the list.

Arnold Schwarzenegger moved to the United States when he was 21 years of age. At time he spoke very little English.

He was very keen on bodybuilding and when he moved to Los Angeles, he got the opportunity to train under the famous Joe Weider. He later won on to win title of Mr. Olympia a total of seven times, which is a very impressive achievement.

Arnold Schwarzenegger was married to Maria Shriver, niece of the late US President, John F. Kennedy for twenty five years, They separated after the news broke out that Schwarzenegger had fathered a child with his maid in 1997.

In 1997 he underwent heart surgery. He was suffering from a congenital heart valve disorder.

He owns his own production company called Oak Productions.

During the 1970’s Arnold Schwarzenegger was considered for the lead role in the popular comic book television series “The Incredible Hulk”. However, the producers eventually turned him down because they said he wasn’t tall enough to play the part.
