Sean Bean was born Shaun Mark on 17th April, 1959 in England.
Sean Bean is most famous for playing the roles of Boromir in the Lord of the Rings movie trilogy, Lord Eddard Stark in the television series, Game of Thrones, airing on HBO and the fictional character of a British officer named Richard Sharpe in the TV series Sharpe.
His professional stage debut was in 1983, with the play, 'Romeo and Juliet' as Tybalt at the Watermill Theatre in Newbury, England.
