Rayne, Louisiana is often referred to as “The Frog Capital of the World” and Breaux Bridge, Louisiana is called “The Crawfish Capital of the World”.

“Fake” wrestling matches are prohibited by law in this state and can result in jail time.

A municipal government museum is located in Pineville. It is known as the Old Town Hall Museum. It is the only such museum in existence that is dedicated to government at this level.
